Let’s talk wrists. We riders use our hands for a lot, and our muscles in the forearm don’t often get the attention they need! Here are two stretches to relieve tension and help your wrists and hands do their job.
1. For the flexors. Open hand, straight elbow.. Using your opposite hand to put backwards pressure on the hand until you feel a stretch on the inside of your forearm. Hold 20-30seconds and repeat 2-3x on each side!
2. For the extensors. Make a fist, straight elbow again.. Use the other hand to apply slight pressure until you feel a stretch on the top/outside of your forearm! Hold 20-30seconds and repeat 2-3x daily.
Voila! Excellent for those with tennis/golfer’s elbow and carpal tunnel as well!
