Reflexology
Reflexology is rooted in Traditional Chinese Medice. It is based on the principle that there are reflexes in your feet, hands and ears that corilate to every part gland and organ of the body. By applying pressure to reflexes we are supporting the body’s efforts to relieve tension, improve circulation and move into the parasympathetic mode of the nervous system which allows it to function optimally.
Modern medicine has affected for the positive how we administer reflexology. With the advances in technology some in the medical field have been able to prove the effectiveness of reflexology and thus creating a new science based/evidence based form of reflexology which is very affective and has helped thousands with specific complaints.
Our Reflexologist, Mary-Clara, takes clients at our Tache location in Winnipeg. She has a long history working to help clients heal through reflexology modalities.

Massage Therapy (Therapeutic and Thai Yoga Massage)
The term “Therapeutic” is just a more correct and professional term for “Deep tissue”. It implies deeper levels of muscle and fascial tissues (connective sheaths) are accessed with higher pressure and techniques that stretch and gently release muscular-posture imbalances. It is done on a heated memory foam table and is suitable for most individuals. This massage uses the most modern-comprehensive techniques and is more suited to a specific problem or area. Joint mobilization, stretching, and an initial orthopedic style assessment is used to determine the best plan of action.
Thai Massage uses assisted stretching techniques combined with manual touch to free movement and congestion stuck in the body. The treatment is done on a padded floor and is both relaxing and rejuvenating. Experience a more invigorating, treatment designed to tackle the most chronic problems with ease.

He is trained in traditional Thai massage, as well as hot stone therapy. Growing up as a top professional bagpiper in North America and Scotland taught him a strong work ethic, and the importance of the student-mentor relationship which facilitates quick success in professional pursuits.” Book your massage with Andrew here, at our MORFIT Tache location.
Reiki Healing
What is Reiki Energy Healing?
Reiki is a gentle, hands-on healing modality discovered and passed on in the early 1900s by Dr. Mikao Usui. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words – Rei which means “God’s Wisdom or the Higher Power” and Ki which is “life force energy.” Therefore, Reiki is actually “spiritually guided life force energy.” Energy treatments do not mask the symptoms, rather they encourage the body to release illness, imbalance and emotional manifestations so that the symptoms are no longer present.
